Storage, cross-docking, repacking, B2B fulfilment and customs operations are all handled at the same address.

Operational model
Latvia receives cargo from the Trans-Caspian corridor, reaches the Baltic Sea through the Freeport of Riga and is inside the European Union, a combination no single Central Asian country has. For a trading house, that means a single jurisdiction in which it can sign contracts that comply with EU law, store goods inside the EU customs territory, carry out sanitary and labelling checks, and send cargo on by road, rail, sea or air without crossing another EU external border.
SIA Trade House ECLECTIE was registered in Latvia in April 2025. It operates under Latvian company law, files its reports with the Latvian Register of Enterprises and trades in euros. Its registered address is "Lielmaņi", Mārupes pag., Mārupes nov., LV-2167, near Riga International Airport (RIX). Day-to-day operations run from our leased part of Uriekstes 4A in the Sarkandaugava industrial district: 2,934 m² of working space under one roof, with a 1,440 m² warehouse used as the transit hub for European deliveries, a 720 m² showroom, a 486 m² packing room and a 288 m² office.
A Latvian SIA is a simple legal form for a foreign partner in the EU: the register has an English interface, the company record is public, and the company can trade across the EU without further approvals. Producers in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan get a transparent counterparty in the EU without having to set up a subsidiary of their own, and buyers in the EU get a Latvian invoice and an agreed set of accompanying documents.
Quality control
Every batch we prepare for shipment goes through pre-export quality control at the Riga warehouse. First, we record the goods, packaging, label, batch code and accompanying documents. Next, we check that information against EU food law, the rules of origin, halal protocols and the partner's order, and flag common labelling errors and missing items while the batch is still in Riga. Finally, the partner receives a plain "ready / fix / risk" report before the batch leaves Latvia.
Correcting a label or supplying a missing certificate at the Riga warehouse, before the goods go to EU buyers, costs about €5–10 per pallet. The same fix after a customs hold costs €200–800 plus storage and demurrage. By moving checks further up the chain, we cut three major hidden costs on Central Asia–EU shipments: returns, fines and capital tied up in waiting cargo.
Trust
The company is registered in Latvia; its details are in the site footer. SIA "Trade House ECLECTIE" is entered in the Latvian Register of Enterprises as a separate legal entity and is liable under all its contracts and obligations. Halal Latvia is a separate halal certification body in Latvia and the EU, working to protocols agreed with the Latvian Food and Veterinary Service (PVD). SIA SLB LV is a separate B2B partner and importer of Uzbek dried fruit, rice, spices and porcelain, with whom we work on logistics and procurement projects.
The trading house and its partners are deliberately separate legal entities, which rules out conflicts of interest between logistics, certification and procurement. Each party in the chain is responsible for its own area, while the buyer in the EU deals with a single counterparty, SIA "Trade House ECLECTIE": one invoice, one set of documents and one party to contact if something goes wrong.
Primary direction
Uzbekistan is the trading house's priority country and the largest part of its sourcing portfolio: dried fruit, plov rice, spices, Rishtan ceramics and cotton textiles. On this route all six of the trading house's services (logistics, warehousing and customs, halal certification, export and import, trade representation and legal support) run as one cycle from a single operations base in Riga.
The standard route follows the Trans-Caspian corridor, Tashkent–Aktau–Baku–Poti–Riga, and urgent batches fly from Tashkent to Riga Airport (RIX). Pre-export quality control takes place at our warehouse at Uriekstes iela 4A in Sarkandaugava, where labelling and origin errors are corrected before the goods go to EU buyers, at €5–10 per pallet against €200–800 after a customs hold.

A trading house is one legal entity that conducts every step between a manufacturer in one country and a buyer in another: purchase, transport, storage, certification, customs, sales representation and legal support. Instead of stitching together five different brokers, the partner signs one contract, receives one invoice and one set of documents. Trade House ECLECTIE in Latvia plays this role between Central Asia and the European Union.
There are three reasons. First, Latvia is in the European Union, so contracts signed by our SIA are compatible with EU law by default. Second, Latvia receives cargo from the Trans-Caspian corridor and reaches the Baltic Sea through the Freeport of Riga, so goods from Central Asia are cleared into the EU in a single jurisdiction. Third, our company has a public record in the Latvian register. A producer registered only in Uzbekistan would have to set up an EU subsidiary to get the same result.
Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are the main sourcing countries; Turkmenistan is available on request. Each country has its own page on this site covering regulation and export categories. Uzbekistan is one of these countries and is not run as a separate brand: the trading house format works because the sourcing portfolio is broad.
Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia (the Baltic core), Sweden, Norway and Finland (Scandinavia), Poland (Central Europe) and Germany (the EU's largest consumer market); Benelux on a project basis. The order of expansion depends on how dense demand is and how much regulation costs: the Baltic states first, then Scandinavia, then Central Europe.

Two models are used. The first is for services separately: a fixed or hourly rate for each task, convenient when the manufacturer needs one or two services (for example, only storage and halal certification). The second is the integrated package of the trading house: transparent margin to the FOB price plus pass-through logistics, convenient when the manufacturer wants the entire chain to the buyer in the EU to be conducted by one operator. Specific rates are fixed in the contract; both models are verified by invoices.
Through our partner Halal Latvia, a halal certification body in Latvia and the EU. It works to the IHI, SMIIC and GIMDES protocols and coordinates with the Latvian Food and Veterinary Service (PVD) on slaughter, packaging, labelling and export. SIA "Trade House ECLECTIE" acts as the logistics and commercial operator, and certification is carried out by a separate body, which rules out a conflict of interest.
