Briefly.

What does Pipeline 01-02-03 do in practice?

Pipeline 01-02-03 is a three-step pre-export control. In step 01 "Fixation", the team takes photos of pallets, packaging, labels and accompanying documents and collects metadata. In step 02 “Verification”, the materials are checked against the requirements of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, the basic food framework of Regulations (EU) No 178/2002 and No 852/2004 and the category directories. In step 03, “Report” is formed a list of “ready/fixed before shipment/high risk”. The material is intended for logisticians, compliance specialists and category managers who are looking for a way to reduce border fixes and returns when importing from Central Asia to the EU. According to the observations of our team, corrections before shipment are kept in margin from 200 to 800 euros per pallet, compared with the elimination of the same remarks already at the border or at the buyer's distribution center.

Three Steps: 01 Fixation, 02 Verification, 03 Report

Step 01 “Fixing”: what exactly we shoot and what metadata we collect

  • Photo fixation: pallet, packaging, individual label, group box, documents, barcodes.
  • Metadata: SKU, lot number, production dates and expiration date, country of origin.
  • Identification of responsible employees and the exact time of shooting.
  • Archival binding of photos and metadata to the batch number in the warehouse system.

Step 02 “Verification”: what requirements and references we use

Step 03 Report: what is ready, what to rule before shipment, what to carry in escalation

Economy: where does the range of 200-800 euros on a pallet come from

  1. Place step 01 "Fixing" in the standard warehouse acceptance cycle before repackaging.
  2. Run step 02 "Verification" by checklist 1169/2011, 178/2002 and 852/2004 and category directories.
  3. Form step 03 "Report" with three statuses and fix the owners of edits.
  4. After two cycles, check the planned and actual indicators - which SKUs are stable, where changes are required regularly.
  5. Connect the report to the dialog with the manufacturer to improve the quality of batches at the source.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Pipeline 01-02-03

Step 01 is an organized process of accepting a batch into a warehouse with mandatory photo fixation and collection of structured metadata. At the executor level, this is a sequence of steps: approach the pallet, take photos from the checklist, enter metadata into the warehouse system, attach photos to the batch number. Software tools help make the process faster and more stable, but it is still a living process, not the “magic” of the application. The main thing is that the party has an evidence base, which can be referred to in a month and a year.
