- Cooking test: 100 g of rice + 200-300 ml of water (depending on the variety), boiling until ready, measuring the time and weight of the finished product.
- Moisture meter: at least five measurement points per batch, average and maximum.
- Sieve sizing: four gauge sieves in 1 mm increments, fixing percent in each fraction.
- Foreign matter check: visual inspection for the presence of extraneous inclusions, the norm is not more than 0.3% by weight.
- Broken kernels: counting the share of broken grain, the norm is up to 5% for the premium segment, up to 10% for the average.
